Our strategy is to pair older, successful students with underachieving ones to encourage academic growth and ensure a sustainable environment so that success is measured and not just imagined. These older students will not only act as tutors for the younger children but as mentors outside of the academic environment and liaisons to Montgomery County and the vast resources available to underprivileged children. We hope that involving these younger children in organized sports teams, arts and science programs, and teaching productive study habits will push them to flourish both in and out of the classroom.
